This Component Package contains the drivers for the HP NC-Series Broadcom 1Gb Multifunction Server Adapters for Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions. This package contains VBD driver version 6.0.22.0, NDIS 5.2 driver version 6.0.32.0, iSCSI offload driver version 6.0.12.0, diagnostic driver version 6.0.11.0 and crash dump driver version 6.0.2.0.

On a ProLiant server running Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008, if a version of the HP NC-Series Broadcom 1GbE Multifunction Driver for Windows Server earlier than version 4.6.16.0 is installed and an attempt to upgrade the driver to a version later than version 4.6.16.0 is made, the following message is displayed and is written to the cpqsetup.log:

HP Virtual Bus Device installation requires a newer version. Version 4.6.16.0 is required.

To ensure the integrity of your download, HP recommends verifying your results with this MD5 Checksum value:

Reboot Requirement:
Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.

Installation:
